Well, we didn't get the house. I am...not happy about it. I think I am handling it pretty well though, aside from a few tears shed while sharing the bad news with Tyler. Our Realtor called me yesterday afternoon with the news. We have; even after putting in the offer on the Missouri Meadows house, still continued to look at other homes. We put in an offer this morning on this one:
The outside is nothing to write home about, but with a little elbow grease and some input from Dad (hint, hint!!) It could be nice. It's not as great as the other house, I don't love the layout downstairs, but it is 200 square feet bigger, which is nice. This house is near the 215 and Jones, just a few minutes south. So it is a good location, not great, but good. Hopefully we will find out soon about this one. There are a few other homes we've looked at that we are keeping on the back burner. I just hope we can find the right one for us sometime soon - I don't love the waiting and anticipation.

I am sorry that you didn't get the first house.
We didn't get the first house that we offered on either. I was sad at the time but I am so glad now.
Maybe there is something better in store for you!

is this a single car garage? That would be the only thing that isn't great, I really like the outside look of this one better. And now that it's over, I wasn't crazy about you being so close to the power lines that run through the other neighborhood.
